Privacy Policy

How Appsdiary Technologies LLP collects, uses and protects your personal information, and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 2, 2026

Appsdiary Technologies LLP (“Appsdiary”, “we”, “us”) designs and builds apps, websites and AI for businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through appsdiary.com (the “Website”) and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are based in Delhi-NCR, India, and work with clients in North America, the UK and Europe, so we aim to meet the privacy standards of those regions as well as India’s.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

Appsdiary Technologies LLP is responsible for your personal information. That makes us the “controller” under the GDPR and UK GDPR, the “data fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the organisation accountable for your information under Canada’s PIPEDA.

For anything in this policy, including privacy requests and complaints, email hello@appsdiary.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact, quote, care plan or careers forms, or email us, you may give us:

  • your name and email address
  • your company and role
  • the services or package you are interested in, your budget range and preferred start date
  • the address of your website or app, or a link to your portfolio or profile
  • the message you write, and anything else you choose to share

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, our hosting systems record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. We also keep a short-lived counter (about ten minutes) linked to a scrambled version of your IP address to block spam and repeated submissions.

Information we do not want. Please do not send us sensitive information, such as health details, financial account numbers or government ID numbers, through the Website. If we ever need something like that for a project, we will arrange a secure way to share it first.

We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them, and we do not make decisions about you using automated profiling.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website uses only a very small amount of browser storage, which is needed for features you use: it remembers your light or dark display choice, and it shows the welcome animation once per visit. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the Website. WordPress sets cookies for our team members when they sign in; these do not apply to visitors.

If we add analytics or other tools that use cookies, we will list them here and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first. You can block or delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with:

  • service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email delivery and storage, and project and collaboration tools. They may use your information only to provide their service to us, and must keep it secure and confidential
  • professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers
  • authorities or other parties where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property
  • a buyer or successor, if our business is ever merged, sold or restructured, who would be bound by this policy

6. International transfers

We are based in India, and our service providers may process information in India, the United States, the European Union or elsewhere. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum, where the law requires them. Contact us if you would like more detail.

7. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

  • Enquiries: for as long as needed to respond, and generally no longer than 24 months afterwards if we do not work together.
  • Careers enquiries: generally up to 12 months, or less if you ask us to delete them.
  • Client and project records: for the life of the contract, and as long afterwards as tax, accounting and contract law require.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls and regular software updates. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • delete your information
  • restrict or stop how we use it, or object to a particular use
  • move your information to another provider, where this applies
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it

To use any of these rights, email hello@appsdiary.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity first. We aim to respond within 30 days, and we do not charge a fee unless a request is clearly excessive.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland

You have the rights above under the GDPR or UK GDPR, and you may complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

If you are in California

Under the CCPA and CPRA you may ask to know, correct and delete your personal information, and you will not be treated differently for using these rights. In the past 12 months we may have collected identifiers (such as name, email address and IP address), professional information (such as company), internet activity (basic server logs) and the content of messages you sent us, for the purposes in section 3. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If you are in Canada

Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws you may access and correct your personal information and withdraw your consent, subject to legal and contractual limits. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If you are in India

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask for a summary of the personal data we process, ask us to correct or erase it, nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to, and use our grievance process. Email hello@appsdiary.com with “Grievance” in the subject line and we aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children

The Website is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

The Website may link to other sites, such as our social media profiles. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, we will give you more prominent notice.
