People no longer only type keywords into Google. They also ask AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews for recommendations. The good news is that the same fundamentals help you appear in both: clear, trustworthy, well-structured information about what you do.
Say clearly what you do, for whom and where
Search engines and AI models need to understand your business in one sentence. State it plainly on your homepage and service pages, for example “Appsdiary is a software development company that builds mobile apps, websites and AI solutions.” Give each service its own page with a descriptive title and heading.
Answer real questions directly
Collect the questions customers ask you before they buy, then answer each one in two or three clear sentences near the top of a page or in an FAQ. AI assistants favour content that gives a direct answer first and the detail after.
Structure your pages
Use one main heading per page, descriptive subheadings and short paragraphs. Add schema markup, such as Organization, Service, FAQ and Article, so search engines can read your pages as structured data. Keep your site fast and mobile-friendly.
Build trust signals
Show real testimonials, case studies with specific outcomes, the people behind the business and consistent contact details. Keep your Google Business Profile, directory listings and social profiles accurate and matching your website.
Keep publishing useful content
Regular articles that genuinely help your customers, like guides, comparisons and how-tos, give search engines and AI tools more reasons to reference you. Update older pages when things change, and measure which topics bring enquiries, not just traffic.
